Za’atar (Middle Eastern)

Makes about ½ cup
Ingredients
• 2 tablespoons sumac
• 2 tablespoons dried oregano
• 1 tablespoon dried thyme
• 1 tablespoon dried marjoram
• 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
• 2 tablespoons toasted sesame seeds
• ½ teaspoon salt
Method

  1. Mix all dry herbs.
  2. Lightly crush between fingers.
  3. Store in an airtight jar.
    Serve with: Olive oil and bread, sprinkle over labneh or salads.
